We aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The Two Rivers policies and our Terms & Conditions outline how bookings, payments, cancellations, and guest responsibilities work. By booking with us, you agree to these policies. When you stay in a Bed and Breakfast you are staying at the home of the operator and respect for the owner and other guests is requested.

Cancellation Policy (Direct Bookings)
If you booked through a third-party site, then the Two Rivers policies may differ due to the constraints of that platform, please check your booking confirmation. We understand that plans sometimes change. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel.
NB: We recommend that guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover the cost of guest cancellation or no show due to any event or illness curtailing itineraries. This clause is not intended to affect guest rights under New Zealand law.
Free Cancellation Period
Travelers who cancel 2 weeks or more before 4:00 PM (NZ) on the day of check-in are charged no fee. The system will automatically take payment at 4:01 PM (NZ) 14 days before arrival, or at the time of booking if within 2 weeks of your stay.
After Payment Has Been Taken
Travelers who cancel between 2 weeks and 1 week before 4:00 PM (NZ) on the day of check-in are charged for 1 night.
Travelers who cancel less than 1 week before 4:00 PM (NZ)on the day of check-in (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount.
No-Shows
No-shows are treated as late cancellations and the full amount is payable.
Suites, Facilities and Occupancy - Suite Facilities
All suites at Two Rivers Ohakune include:
Private ensuite bathroom with shower
Small fridge
Heating and air conditioning
Complimentary amenities
Our intent is to provide a private space for you during your stay. Comprehensive cleaning before arrival and after departure. If your stay is for 3 nights then we will offer extra towels. If your stay is more than 4 nights then we will request a suitable time for a deeper room service.
Spa Pools (Hot Tubs)
The Rua Awa and Mangawhero suites each have their own hot tub.
The Mangateitei suite does not have a hot tub.
Hot tubs are cleaned regularly by a hot tub professional. It is not possible to freshly fill them after every stay due to the length of time taken to heat them up.
Occupancy
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests per suite.
Guests may book multiple suites for group stays, but occupancy limits still apply.
Please request permission before inviting other people into the grounds of Two Rivers.
Adults-Only Policy
Two Rivers Ohakune is an adults-only property. Guests aged 18 years or younger may stay only with prior arrangement and approval. Arriving with children or additional adults without approval will result in cancellation of your booking and the full reservation amount being charged.
Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Property
Our entire property, including suites and grounds, is smoke-free and vape-free.
If smoking or vaping occurs anywhere on the property, a cleaning and deodorisation fee will be charged.
Additionally, we operate a strict no drugs policy and evidence of use will be reported to the Police. If we observe drug use then we will request you to leave. Deep clean charges will be payable in the event of contamination.
Quiet Times
The aim of Two Rivers Ohakune is to provide a restful and peaceful respite. We ask that you respect other guests and the owners, at all times, while on site. The playing of loud music will not be tolerated. We request quiet on site from 10PM, but after 11PM we operate a zero tolerance policy on noise and operate a curfew . Disrespect of this condition will result in you being requested to leave and the full reservation amount being charged.
Booking Policies
Minimum night stays may apply during peak or seasonal periods.
Rates and availability vary depending on the time of year.
All bookings must comply with occupancy and age policies.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: 4:00pm to 10:00pm. If you plan to arrive after 7PM, then please indicate a likely time of arrival.
Check-out: 10:30am
Early check-ins and late check-outs:
Are subject to room availability and housekeeping schedules
Cannot always be confirmed until the day before arrival
May incur additional fees
Payment Policy (Direct Website Bookings)
Note: If you booked via Expedia, Booking.com, or another travel site, the Two Rivers policies may differ, please check your booking confirmation for details. This is due to constraints on those platforms.
Credit Card Details
Your credit card details are securely held at the time of booking.
Your card will be charged at 4:01 PM (NZ) fourteen days before arrival. The full booking amount is charged to the card provided.
We reserve the right to take a credit card hold for all stays.
Pre-Payment
At 4:01pm on the 14th day before arrival, the full booking amount is charged to the card provided. A 2.95% card processing surcharge applies. We accept major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard. Other credit cards are not accepted.
Bank Transfers
If you prefer to pay by bank transfer:
Email us and we will provide our bank account details.
Please transfer payment at least fifteen days before arrival. We need to manually update the system to prevent the credit card being used so need admin time after you transfer funds.
Failure to Pay
If payment is not received, we reserve the right to cancel and re-sell your reservation.
Parties, Events and Visitors
Parties and events are not permitted.
Only registered guests may be on the property unless prior approval is given.
If you are attending Mardi Gras or similar events then please consider our check in and curfew hours, i.e. no movement on site after 11PM. Two Rivers Ohakune may not be suitable for your accommodation requirements.
Damage, Loss and Excessive Cleaning
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, missing items, or excessive cleaning required. Associated costs may be charged to the credit card on file.
Parking
Free onsite parking is available for one car per suite. Please advise if additional parking is required, we will do our best to accommodate those requests.
Privacy and Data Security
Your personal information and payment details are securely stored and used only for managing your booking.
We do not share guest information except where required by law.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to cancel bookings, refuse accommodation, or remove guests who breach these Terms & Conditions or behave in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
Refunds will not be provided for nights forfeited due to policy breaches.
