We aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. These Terms & Conditions outline how bookings, payments, cancellations, and guest responsibilities work. By booking with us, you agree to these policies.

Cancellation Policy (Direct Bookings)
If you booked through a third-party site, please check the policy listed on that platform. We understand that plans sometimes change. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel.
Free Cancellation Period
You may cancel up until 4:01pm, three days before arrival, with no charge.
After Payment Has Been Taken
If you cancel within 48 hours after payment is taken, you will be charged for the first night only.
If your stay is more than one night, remaining nights will be refunded, less card processing fees.
Within 24 Hours of Arrival
If you cancel within 24 hours of check-in (after 4:00pm the day before arrival), the full booking amount is payable and no refund will be issued.
No-Shows
No-shows are treated as late cancellations and the full amount is payable.
Suites, Facilities and OccupancySuite Facilities
All suites at Two Rivers Ohakune include:
Private ensuite bathroom with shower
Small fridge
Heating and air conditioning
Complimentary amenities
Spa Pools (Hot Tubs)
The Rua Awa and Mangawhero suites each have their own hot tub.
The Mangateitei suite does not have a hot tub.
Hot tubs are cleaned regularly after each booking, but are not freshly filled every time.
Occupancy
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests per suite.
Guests may book multiple suites for group stays, but occupancy limits still apply.
Adults-Only Policy
Two Rivers Ohakune is an adults-only property. Guests aged 18 years or younger may stay only with prior arrangement and approval. Arriving with children or additional adults without approval will result in cancellation of your booking and the full reservation amount being charged.
Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Property
Our entire property, including suites and grounds, is smoke-free and vape-free.
If smoking or vaping occurs anywhere on the property, a cleaning and deodorisation fee may be charged.
Booking Policies
Minimum night stays may apply during peak or seasonal periods.
Rates and availability vary depending on the time of year.
All bookings must comply with occupancy and age policies.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: 4:00pm to 10:00pm
Check-out: 10:30am
Early check-ins and late check-outs:
Are subject to room availability and housekeeping schedules
Cannot always be confirmed until the day before arrival
May incur additional fees
Payment Policy (Direct Website Bookings)
Note: If you booked via Expedia, Booking.com, or another travel site, their policies may differ.
Credit Card Details
Your credit card details are securely held at the time of booking.
No payment is taken unless your arrival is within three days.
Pre-Payment
At 4:01pm on the third day before arrival, the full booking amount is charged to the card provided. A 2.95% card processing surcharge applies. We accept major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard.
Bank Transfers
If you prefer to pay by bank transfer:
Email us and we will provide our bank account details.
Please transfer payment at least four days before arrival.
Notify us once the transfer is made so we can update your booking.
Failure to Pay
If payment is not received, we reserve the right to cancel and re-sell your reservation.
Parties, Events and Visitors
Parties and events are not permitted.
Only registered guests may be on the property unless prior approval is given.
Damage, Loss and Excessive Cleaning
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, missing items, or excessive cleaning required. Associated costs may be charged to the credit card on file.
Parking
Free onsite parking is available for one car per suite.
Privacy and Data Security
Your personal information and payment details are securely stored and used only for managing your booking.
We do not share guest information except where required by law.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to cancel bookings, refuse accommodation, or remove guests who breach these Terms & Conditions or behave in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
Refunds will not be provided for nights forfeited due to policy breaches.
