Our Mangateitei and Mangawhero rooms, both recently renovated, share a lobby for easy access while ensuring your privacy with bedrooms separated by bathrooms.
Perfect for small groups or independent stays, each room is modern, bright, and designed to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Your comfort and privacy are our top priorities.
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
We provide a continental breakfast hamper and a kitchenette to prepare it. This gives privacy and flexibility. You are not tied down to a 'breakfast time'. We provide a hamper with cereal options, yoghurt, boiled eggs, orange juice, and a selection of fruit. Bread, butter and a selection of jams are also provided. Please advise if you have allergies or health issues.

Your room will be prepared before your arrival to exacting standards. We clean again after you have departed, ensuring your privacy during your stay. If you are here longer than two days, then we will offer fresh towels and additional teas/coffees.

We offer complimentary, private spa pools for guests in the Rua Awa and Mangawhero rooms.
Groups using the Mangawhero and Mangateitei rooms are able to use the Mangawhero spa with its 5 seats. This means that currently there is no spa pool offering for the Mangateitei room.

THINGS TO DO
Skiing
Ohakune is on the southern end of Mt Ruapehu which has two commercial and one club ski field. We love Turoa, which is only 18km from the B&B, but recommend and support all three.
Biking
With established and emerging cycle tracks in the Ohakune and wider Ruapehu area, there is something for everyone. There are rental options very close to Two Rivers and shuttle buses to give you a head start.
Walking/Tramping
We're on the edge of the Tongariro National Park, with a multitude of walks from the world famous Tongariro Crossing to local lakes and waterfall walks. From a few hours to a few days, there are options for you and Two Rivers can provided the luxury you need when you're done for the day.
Relaxation
While Ohakune may be a centre for adventures, we know the value of just finding time to stop and unwind in this fast-paced life we all lead. We believe that Two Rivers offers the environment for you to do that. There are massage and treatment options in Ohakune, but for some a spa on the deck, listening to the rivers and admiring the mountain is enough. You're welcome to take time to slow down at Two Rivers.
Local Dining
We feel like we're spoiled for choice in Ohakune when it comes to food... Whether it's one of the excellent cafes for brunch, a coffee-stop for that emergency energy boost, or a restaurant for an evening meal - Ohakune punches above its weight. Tell us what you like, and we'll point you in the right direction. But secretly we love the Cyprus Tree and less secretly we can offer a discount for there.
